Edd Terran
Edd is a Britsh artist who had a passion for art from a very early age. He attended adult art evening classes at College when he was just 13 and at 16 won a place at the Southend School of Art where for 3 years he studied fine art, history of art, painting and drawing, print making, calligraphy, photography, sculpture and graphics.
He pursued a career in graphic design and worked for many advertising agencies and design studios before launching his own design and film studios based in Long Melford, where he and his family made their home.
Edd has now lived in the village for 37 years. It is here and while volunteering for Suffolk Wildlife Trust that he developed his passion for the natural world, which in turn re-kindled his interest in fine art and its skills.
Now retired, Edd has finally gone back to his real passion - painting. He has a variety styles and lets the subject dictate the style, from realism to abstract. Portraits, landscapes and still life are just some of the many diverse areas that interest him.
